Location
Overlooking the beautiful Conwy valley at an elevation of almost 300m (1000ft) in the foothills of Snowdonia, with direct access to many paths and tracks leading to the 3000ft mountains of the Carneddau range, Bron-y-Gader has an enviable position. The only neighbours within shouting distance are sheep.
Remote and isolated, yet just 8 miles from the bustling town of Conwy, 12 miles from the beaches of Llandudno and 10 miles from Betws-y-Coed with its walking/biking trails. The villages of Llanbedr-y-Cennin and Tal-y-bont are within 2 miles down the hill. It is within 2 hours' drive of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
The centre is approximately 2 miles from the valley bottom and is accessible by car and minibus via narrow and twisty local roads plus a short gravel farm track.
